Choosing your subdomain
Your subdomain is your kiosk display's permanent address. Here's how it's chosen and what to do if it needs to change.
Quick answer
You choose your subdomain once, at signup — for example, yourmosque.awqot.app. There's currently no way to change it yourself from the admin panel. If you need it changed, reach out to support@awqot.app and we'll help however we can.
How your subdomain is chosen
When you sign up, you'll be asked to pick a subdomain alongside your mosque's name. This becomes the web address your kiosk display, and anyone you share it with, will always use — yourmosque.awqot.app.
Choose something short and recognizable to your congregation — your mosque's common name or initials both work well.
If your subdomain is already taken
Subdomains are first-come, first-served across all mosques on Awqōt. If the one you want is unavailable, you'll need to pick a variation — adding a location or abbreviation is a common approach.
Changing it later
There's no self-serve option to change your subdomain once your mosque is set up. If you've picked something you'd like to change — a typo, a rebrand, or anything else — email support@awqot.app and let us know what you'd like it changed to. We'll look into it on our end.
