Signing up, your trial, and getting verified
Getting your mosque set up on Awqōt takes a few minutes. Here's exactly what happens between creating your account and unlocking full access.
Quick answer
Sign up instantly, no waiting. You'll get a 7-day trial to try things out, then submit two short documents from your admin panel to unlock full slide storage and Khutbah & Live Session mode. Submitting both documents pauses your trial clock — there's no rush once your documents are in. If a submission is rejected, though, there's no grace period: your original 7-day deadline still stands, even if it's already passed by the time you're notified.
Create your mosque's account
Head to awqot.app and sign up. You'll pick a name for your mosque and choose your own subdomain — for example, yourmosque.awqot.app — which becomes your kiosk display's permanent address.
There's no waiting period and nothing to approve up front. Your account is active right away, in trial mode.
Your 7-day trial
Your trial gives you room to try Awqōt before submitting your verification documents:
- Included: full prayer time display, Hijri calendar, themes, and 1 announcement slide (up to 20MB)
- Not yet unlocked: additional slides — verified mosques can keep up to 5 — and Khutbah & Live Session mode
The 7-day countdown starts the moment you sign up.
Get verified
To unlock additional slide storage and Khutbah & Live Session mode, submit two documents from your Admin Panel → Profile tab:
- An official letter confirming your mosque's name, UEN, and address
- A recent operational document — such as a utility bill or tax invoice (PDF, JPG, or PNG, up to 10MB each)
Once both documents are in, your trial deadline pauses while our team reviews them — you won't lose access mid-review.
While you wait on review
The Awqōt team checks your documents and either approves your mosque — unlocking full slide storage and Khutbah & Live Session mode — or lets you know if something needs to be corrected.
If a document needs changes, your status returns to awaiting documents so you can re-upload, and your trial clock resumes right where it left off — your original 7-day deadline doesn't move or extend. If that deadline has already passed by the time you're notified, resubmit as soon as you can: your account can be suspended once it's overdue again.
If your 7 days run out
If your trial ends while you still haven't submitted both documents — or your deadline had already passed by the time a submission was rejected — your account is automatically suspended to keep things fair for everyone on trial. Once both documents are in and awaiting review, your deadline is paused, so this won't happen to you mid-review.
If your account is suspended, get in touch at support@awqot.app — even after your documents are submitted and approved, our team may need to separately restore your access.
Common questions
Can someone else at the mosque manage the account instead of me?
Each mosque currently uses a single shared admin login, so it's best shared with whoever manages your kiosk display day to day — often your Marcom or AV coordinator.
Will submitting the wrong document format cause a problem?
Your admin panel will let you know if a file can't be accepted before it's submitted for review — we accept PDF, JPG, and PNG files up to 10MB each.
What happens to my documents after review?
They're retained only until a decision is made on your application. Once approved or rejected, both documents are automatically and permanently deleted from our systems.
